Are There Places Unfilled?

Do you know of private schools in your area which have openings for fall 2009? I'd like to do my bit by listing schools which still have places. My experience tells me that there are still parents looking for a place for their child. It happens for all kinds of very good reasons, not the least of which is a move or transfer. Please email me privately if you know of any openings. I will check with the school and confirm the details and post a list of openings.

Proctor Academy's New iPhone App

Like many of you, I tweet. And I follow schools which tweet too. So I was fascinated to see a tweet from Proctor Academy appear on TweetDeck announcing their iPhone App. It's called Proctor and was devised by WhippleHill Communications. The link will take you to the Apple Store. What a super way for students and parents to stay connected! BTW about 10 schools use Whipple's app. I imagine a lot more will be clamoring for their own app before long. Kudos, WhippleHill.

I know there are other schools which tweet. Tweet me so I can follow you, ok? And if you have an iPhone app similar to Proctor's, do let me know.

Did I tell you that my alma mater, Westmount High School in Montreal used to play a football game with Proctor once a year when I was in high school? I think we even made them play real football, you know, Canadian football which has 3 downs. Ah, another trip down memory lane....
